Black Friday kicks off the Brand-New Jingle Bell Flock presented by AAA Travel! During this National Aviary Holiday Special, available as an add-on to General Admission at just $5 ($4 for members!)– you’ll enjoy a festive and musical free-flight, immersive bird show. ONLY offered through the end of 2025 You’ll get the opportunity to sing-along to classic winter wonderland-themed songs with a "feathered or scaly" twist, like “Silver Gulls” (a play on classic ‘Silver Bells’), and “You’re a Mean One Mr. Skink” with a special visit from a Blue-tongued Skink, alongside other seasonal charms! Tickets for weekday and weekend performances can be purchased at aviary.org starting November 19!
Experience the perfect unique photo opportunity during our returning Season’s Greetings Saturdays...with a Grinch-y invasion! In a National Aviary first, meet the miserly Grinch himself, alongside his stink, stank, skunk friend OR the original WHO-OO-OO...an owl buddy! But don’t fret, those who prefer to sleigh in a photo with Santa and an African Penguin will also have their chance during a special pop-up visit on December 6!

One Day Camps! Kids from Pittsburgh and beyond are invited to beat the holiday break boredom with an exciting session of Winter Camp at the National Aviary. Campers will learn how birds survive the winter and discover what makes these avian wonders so extraordinary through guided learning sessions, interactive activities, and up-close Animal Encounters! Plus, learn how they can help backyard birds during the winter, while exploring the National Aviary’s immersive habitats alongside an Aviary expert!
