The entrance to the nature center is at the corner of Hillcrest Avenue and Crestmont Drive. Green Tree's Nature Center is our diamond in the rough with 18 acres of flourishing forest featuring dozens of plants/trees and animals. Multiple trails allow for a relaxing stroll through the woods. You may see some White Tail Deer, Squirrels (Eastern Gray/Fox) and Wild Turkeys. Also, along your walk you may find many different bird species as well. The trail guides you down the hill to natural streams which makes you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. Dogs are permitted. Please have a leash and please be sure to clean up after your pet. There are pet waste bags at the entrance.
